Your 4 days Marrakech to Fes desert tour starts in the morning, around 8 o’clock. We will pick you up from your hotel or riad. Then, we will drive through the amazing High Atlas Mountains, going over a high mountain pass called Tizi N’Tichka, which is 2,260 meters high. As we drive, you will see old Berber villages and shepherds looking after their animals with the snowy mountain tops in the distance. We will stop a few times so you can take pictures, stretch your legs, and maybe grab a coffee.
Around lunchtime, we will arrive at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. This is a very old village that is so special it is protected by UNESCO. You might recognize it from famous movies like Gladiator and The Mummy, and even the TV show Game of Thrones! we will show you around this beautiful place. After that, we will head to Ouarzazate, which people call the “Hollywood of Africa” because it has the biggest movie studios in Africa. If you want, you can go inside Atlas Studios, or we can just keep going on our way.
Next, we will drive through the pretty Valley of Roses and a town called Kalaat Mgouna. Finally, we will arrive at your hotel in the Dades Valley. Here, you will have dinner and spend the night.

Wake up early – it is worth it! Step outside your tent to watch the sunrise paint the dunes in golden colors. The desert is so peaceful in the morning light. After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the camp, we will go on a fun adventure in a 4×4 car to see more of the Sahara desert.
We will drive to some faraway desert areas and meet a local nomadic family. They are very kind and welcoming, and you will learn about how they live, their old customs, and how they manage life in the desert.
As we discover the hidden beautiful spots in the Sahara, we will stop for lunch in a small village and enjoy some yummy Moroccan food. After lunch, we will drive to your Riad in Merzouga. This is a kind of traditional Moroccan house where you can relax. Later in the afternoon, you can take a walk to the sand dunes that are close by to watch another amazing sunset in the desert. Or, if you want something more exciting, you can try riding a quad bike or a buggy across the sand.
After a day full of exploring and fun, enjoy a delicious dinner at your riad. Listen to the quiet sounds of the desert as you relax – the perfect end to an amazing day!

After a tasty breakfast at your riad, we will start driving toward Fes – one of Morocco’s most historic cities. The road takes us through amazing scenery that changes before your eyes!
First, we will pass through the Ziz Valley, where thousands of palm trees create a green river in the desert. Then we will climb into the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at a magical cedar forest where wild monkeys play in the trees.
We will take a break in Ifrane – a super clean town that looks like it came straight from the Swiss Alps! You will love the flower boxes and cute houses here.
