As you navigate through the mountains, you will encounter traditional Berber villages and shepherds amidst the snow-capped peaks. There will be enough opportunities to stop for photos and enjoy a coffee break while soaking in the stunning views.
By noon, you will arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient village famously featured in films such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Game of Thrones. Following a guided tour of this historical gem, the journey continues to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Here, you have the option to explore Atlas Studios, the largest film studio in Africa, or proceed with the tour.
The day’s travel will take you through the charming Valley of Roses and the town of Kalaat Mgouna before arriving at your hotel in Dades Valley. Enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind for a restful night at your accommodation.

On the second day of your Marrakech to Chefchaouen desert tour, you will set out on a scenic drive through Dades Valley. Here, you will be treated to panoramic views of the Dades Gorges, famous for their striking rock formations, known as “Monkey Fingers.”
Next, you will arrive at the Tinghir Oasis. As you travel through this lush area, you will enjoy beautiful scenery and have the chance to take a relaxing walk through Todra Canyon. This canyon is known for its impressive cliffs and is one of Morocco’s most stunning natural sites.
Continuing on, you will head towards the Merzouga desert. Once there, a camel caravan will be ready to take you on a magical sunset ride across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. This unforgettable experience will lead you to your desert camp.
As night falls, you will savor a traditional Berber dinner at the camp. Afterward, enjoy an evening of drumming and singing around a campfire under the star-filled desert sky. You will spend the night in your comfortable desert camp, completing a day full of adventure and cultural immersion.

Start your day early to enjoy the peaceful sunrise from your desert camp. After breakfast, you can choose to return to Merzouga either by camel or in a 4×4 vehicle.
Once back in Merzouga, you will meet your driver/guide and begin your scenic journey to Fes. On the way, you will drive through the stunning Ziz Valley, known for its beautiful landscapes. You will also cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you will stop at a Cedar Forest to see the Barbary apes in their natural habitat.
We will make a quick stop in Ifrane, which is often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its charming Alpine-style buildings.
You will arrive in Fes by late afternoon and check into your Riad in the historic Medina. Relax and settle in for a comfortable night in this ancient city.
